Introduction
OpenSSL is provided by the Operating System which by default, certain version of OpenSSL will be installed. Certain application may require older OpenSSL version to work.
It is possible to install a compatibile OpenSSL 1.1 but do note that the risk involved and can render your Operating System unbootable or crash.
Therefore it is highly recommended that you do a Snapshot of your existing VPS before attempting to downgrade.
Procedure
Via SSH, run the following command.
yum install compat-openssl11
